The Cisco WS-C3850-48XS-E is a high-performance Catalyst 3850 Series switch designed for demanding enterprise and data center environments. It features 48 ports of 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ connectivity and 4 ports of 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+. It provides advanced Layer 3 capabilities, high availability, and is often used for aggregation and core switching. Notably, this model is a standalone switch, and does not support stacking like some of it’s 3850 series counterparts.
